18-19 October 2007

I went to the Fall Leadership Conference with the Davis Marketing Group Leadership Team. Here are the directions I left with the sub:

Period 5-Marketing

Begin with 10-15 minutes of silent reading. Allow students to comment on what they have read and keep a list of who does so. (They get participation points for this). Next, have them divide up into teams of TWO (one team of three if there is an odd number of students present). They are to write a creative and entertaining story using all the terms in chapter 6 (both 6.1 and 6.2). They may use the computer (bold face the terms) or write (underline the terms). Prize for the most entertaining story! Collect at the end of the class

Period 8-Marketing

Students will do silent reading in their books for 10-15 minutes. After this is done allow them 10 minutes to review Chapter 5 before the quiz. Take the quiz in class. If time permits, correct the quiz in class as well.

Period 4-Entreprneurship

Begin with silent reading. Allow comments after the 10-15 minutes and record names

Collect the materials from their new product

View the video on Sam Walton. Remind them that they need to keep notes on all videos from the Biography series for an assignment at the end of the semester.
